"I'd always intended to call the new album 'Music Prince', as it was the first song i'd written for the record, but Sandy's death changed all that. It's impossible to say here how much her music meant to me and still does. Her songs - often so painfully sad, beautiful in their construction and delivery - live on and can never be copied or emulated, although many fine fingers have tried. Sandy's death felt like a tragedy in my own life, and adding the song 'Magic Lady' to the finished album and dedicating it to her seemed the only thing to do."
